DESCRIPTION:
Accelerating time-critical image processing and analysis tasks is deemed necessary, especially in real-time imaging applications. In the dissertation’s framework, video sequences and three-dimensional representation constitute the main target of the design of digital accelerating systems, using hardware description languages and implementing these systems in Field Programmable Gate Arrays.
