DESCRIPTION:
In this PhD thesis methods for the design of sequences suitable for application in cryptography and spread spectrum communications were studied. For the first time efficient methods for the evaluation of the nonlinear complexity and the first order approximation of a sequence were proposed. Finally, a new family of sequences for application in spread spectrum communication systems was introduced.
