ADSL Pilot project for the provision of Fast Internet & MultimediaPERSON IN CHARGE: Kalouptsidis NikosFUNDED BY: OTE START DATE: 01/01/1999 END DATE: 31/12/2001 DESCRIPTION: The project was the first pilot project for ADSL in Greece focused on study, purchase and installation of ADSL equipment in OTE R&D premises. UoA was responsible for the technical specifications, purchasing and testing ADSL equipment as well as for the provisioning of fast internet and multimedia services. The 2nd phase of the project is under negotiations and UoA is responsible for the technoeconomic evaluation of xDSL deployment alternatives.
