DESCRIPTION:
The framework of this project included the implementation of new techniques and algorithms for the identification of biomedical image features. The developed techniques were aiming to the determination of the most proper features for the description and discrimination of normal and cancer regions. These features are used as input of a neural network architecture used for the classification of the image regions. The recognition success achieved was 93-98%.
