DECTPERSON IN CHARGE: Merakos LazarosFUNDED BY: Hellenic Telecommunications Organisation (ΟΤΕ) START DATE: 20/05/1999 END DATE: 20/11/2000 DESCRIPTION: DECT project concerns the extension of the fixed telephone network to mobile users through the DECT technology. Several problems encountered, such as transparent provision of advanced services and mobility management, are scrutinized and technical solutions are explored. Furthermore this project studies the future interconnection of DECT with B-ISDN networks and the UMTS.
