TEMPOPERSON IN CHARGE: Merakos LazarosFUNDED BY: Hellenic Telecommunications Organisation (ΟΤΕ) START DATE: 01/04/2002 END DATE: 30/06/2003 DESCRIPTION: The objective of this project was to upgrade the ΟΤΕ Multimedia Laboratory to a centre for the provision of specialised, consulting services on the technologies, architectures, and services that it supports (MPLS, DiffServ, VPNs, IP Multicasting), as well as to demonstrate Value Added Services provisioning over IP networks, based on predefined Service Level Agreements.The results of the project include: 1.Expansion of the multimedia laboratory testbed infrastructure 2.Demonstration of Value Added Services over the OTE IP network 3.Experimentation with the provision of services with guaranteed QoS through predefined Service Level Agreements. This was performed at trunk level by adopting IP, ATM and MPLS transmission architectures.
