For the efficient and robust implementation of global computing scenarios in such systems, we aim to provide a unifying foundational framework and a coherent set of design rules, focusing on the issues of: (i) co-operation and antagonism of autonomous entities (ii) stability and fault-tolerance in multi-agent environments and (iii) communication and motion in ad-hoc mobile networks.
